Paloma has raised approximately £720 million of capital in four Funds from investors in Europe, the Middle East and North America from institutions, sovereign wealth funds, charities, family offices and high net worth individuals. This capital is wholly discretionary allowing it to rotate opportunistically between the UK’s different sectors and regions as pricing and return prospects evolve.
Our investment philosophy is founded on three key pillars; an acute focus upon mispricing, an entrepreneurial approach to capex-led asset management and an insistence that a large part of our return comes from income
Our assets almost always require transformation to unlock hidden potential and drive long term value. Typically, this means the physical transformation of the building through disciplined, intensive capital investment, focused on improving existing buildings rather than re-development. Examples include re-roofing, re-cladding or extending buildings, improving their environmental performance through better insulation or building services and resolving cladding or fire risk issues in muti-storey buildings. The result is assets with more sustainable, robust income that can withstand economic shocks, better income growth prospects and better pricing and liquidity on exit, all leading to superior returns and less risk for our investors.
